Lafafi
Lafafi is an Indian Punjabi-language television series broadcast by Jalandhar Doordarshan from 1993 to 1994. The first episode was telecast on 16 December 1993. The serial depicts the struggle of an ordinary girl from a low class family. Who seeks to find a respectable place in society and finds herself in the heart and life of the person who deserts her after having seduced her. Plot Lafafi, along with her family comprising a drunkard father, a sick mother and a disabled younger brother, makes her living by making and selling paper bags in the local market of a small sleepy town. With less than ordinary looks, she is not only a laughing stock for the shopkeepers with whom she has to deal but also is an easy target of their vulgar remarks and advances. Chaman, owner of a grocery shop, being a person with large heart by nature, helps Lafafi financially whenever she faces a crisis. Ravi Deep
Ravi Deep (born Ravi Parkash; 30 December 1954) is an Indian theatre and television director, writer, and actor Biography Ravi Deep started stage acting in his school days and got involved in modern theatre during college days at Kapurthala, a town in India. He along with Lalit Behl, Pramod Moutho, Satish Sharma and Harjit Walia made this small town a hub of modern theatre. He did his Masters in Dramatic Art from Punjabi University, Patiala in 1977. He did freelancing as theatre actor, director and writer. He wrote and directed short plays 'Rang Nagari' (The City of Colors), 'Kheench Rahe Hain' (Pulling On), 'Kaun Nachaye Nach?' Jalandhar Doordarshan
Doordarshan (), abbreviated as DD, is India's state-owned public television broadcaster. Established by the Government of India on 15 September 1959, it is owned by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and constitutes one of Prasar Bharati's two divisions.
