Ladybug (comics)
L-Ron La Dama La Dama is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. La Dama is a leading figure in El Paso's criminal underworld who was nothing more than an urban legend. Anyone who crosses her will find out how real she is. Her true identity is Amparo, the aunt of Jaime Reyes' friend Brenda del Vacchio. After Brenda was hospitalized by the thugs that were defeated by Blue Beetle, La Dama was in the shadows as she tells the hospital staff to treats Brenda's friends as well. La Dama dispatches Diviner to test Blue Beetle and recruit him to her cause. This mission ends in failure. Amparo talks with Brenda at the restaurant La Petit Monde about her relationship with Jaime. Blue Beetle and the Posse work to spring Posse member Probe from La Dama's prison Warehouse 13 where they encounter La Dama's minion Headmaster. An American comic book is a thin periodical originating in the United States, on average 32 pages, containing comics. While the form originated in 1933, American comic books first gained popularity after the 1938 publication of ''Action Comics'', which included the debut of the superhero Superman. Kobra (DC Comics)
Kobra is the name used by two supervillains published by DC Comics. The Jeffrey Burr incarnation of Kobra and his brother Jason first appeared in ''Kobra'' #1 (February 1976), and were created by Jack Kirby. Jason Burr debuted as Kobra in ''Faces of Evil: Kobra'' #1 (March 2009) by Ivan Brandon and Julian Lopez. Publication history Both Jeffrey and Jason Burr were created by Jack Kirby for a proposed DC Comics series called ''King Kobra'', the first issue of which was both written and drawn by Kirby. This first issue then sat in DC inventory for over a year, during which time Kirby left the publisher to return to Marvel Comics.
