Labud Dragić
Labud Dragić ( Serbian-Cyrillic: Лабуд Драгић; born 24 October 1954, in Ljevišta, SR Montenegro, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Serbian writer of Montenegrin origin. Life and work Labud Dragić was born in Ljevišta, a very small village of Morača Highland in Montenegrin municipality of Kolašin. Dragić attended a gymnasium in Sarajevo with maturity diploma in 1973, then he studied literary science with a focus on literary theory at the Philological Faculty of Belgrade's University and graduated in 1979. The writer is current member of the Association of Writers of Serbia. Dragić has already been a frequent visitor to Serbian Canadian community in Ontario. The artist lives in New Belgrade. Serbian Cyrillic Alphabet
The Serbian Cyrillic alphabet (, ), also known as the Serbian script, (, ), is a standardized variation of the Cyrillic script used to write the Serbian language. It originated in medieval Serbia and was significantly reformed in the 19th century by the Serbian philologist and linguist Vuk Karadžić. The Serbian Cyrillic alphabet is one of the two official scripts used to write modern standard Serbian, the other being Gaj's Latin alphabet. Karadžić based his reform on the earlier 18th-century Slavonic-Serbian script. Following the principle of "write as you speak and read as it is written" (''piši kao što govoriš, čitaj kao što je napisano''), he removed obsolete letters, eliminated redundant representations of iotated vowels, and introduced the letter from the Latin script. Serbian Canadians
The community of Serbian Canadians (; ) includes Canadian citizens of Serb ethnicity, or people born in Serbia who permanently reside in Canada. Zorah
Zorah () or Tzorah (), was a biblical town in the Judaean Foothills. It has been identified with the former village of Sar'a, now often referred to as Tel Tzora. In literary theory, a text is any object that can be "read", whether this object is a work of literature, a street sign, an arrangement of buildings on a city block, or styles of clothing.
