Laboum
Laboum (; stylized in all caps) is a South Korean girl group currently under Interpark, Interpark Music Plus, the group consists of: Jeong So-yeon, Soyeon, Jinyea, Haein and Ahn Sol-bin, Solbin, original members, Yulhee left in 2017 followed by leader Yujeong in 2021. They debuted in 2014 under NH Media and Nega Network's joint venture Global H. Their name is taken from the French term meaning "The Party". History 2014: Debut with ''Petit Macaron'' In August 2014, NH Media and Nega Network announced the upcoming debut girl group Laboum, who had been training for four years. The group was touted as a sister group to NH Media's U-KISS and Nega Network's Brown Eyed Girls. Jeong So-yeon
Jeong So-yeon (; born May 4, 1994), known mononymously as Soyeon, is a South Korean singer. She debuted in 2014 as the vocalist of the South Korean girl group Laboum. In 2022, she became a member of the project supergroup WSG Wannabe. Early life and education Jeong So-yeon was born in Gwangju on May 4, 1994. She attended Gwangju Cultural Middle School. In 2011, Jeong was a contestant on the South Korean television talent show series '' Superstar K 3'', where she appeared with her school friend and fellow K-pop idol Bae Suzy. ''Blossom'' is the third extended play (EP) by South Korean girl group Laboum. It was released on November 3, 2021, by Interpark Music Plus. The EP marks the group's first release as a four-member group, after Yujeong's departure in September 2021, and their first release under their new label and their first Korean EP in nearly four years, following the release of '' Miss This Kiss'' (2017). The EP consists of four tracks, including the lead track "Kiss Kiss". ''Miss This Kiss'' is the second extended play by South Korean girl group Laboum. It was released on April 17, 2017, by NH Media. It consists of six tracks, including the title track "Hwi Hwi". The EP was a commercial success and topped the Gaon Album Chart. The single "Hwi Hwi" also earned the group their first ever music show trophy since their debut on April 28, 2017 on the music show ''Music Bank''. Background and release On March 15, 2017, Laboum's agency confirmed that the group is preparing to release an album in April.
