La Verdad Christian College
The La Verdad Christian College or LVCC is a private educational institution established in Apalit, Pampanga, Philippines. It is the first private school in the Philippines that grants scholarship programs to deserving students by providing tuition-free education and no miscellaneous fees. It is one of the best schools in Pampanga, up to regional and national levels. History La Verdad Christian College was established in 1998 by its founding chairman Eli Soriano. Currently, Dr. Daniel Razon serves as the president. It offers pre-school, elementary and high school to its students since 1998 then college was started in 2005 offering its initial six technical courses. In 2010, the college established its first branch in Caloocan which eventually becomes the main branch of the institution. Eli Soriano
Eliseo "Eli" Fernando Soriano (; April 4, 1947 – February 10, 2021) was a Filipino preacher and televangelist. He was the "Overall Servant" ( Tagalog: ''Lingkod Pangkalahatan,'' formerly called "Presiding Minister") of the Members Church of God International (MCGI), an international Christian religious organization with headquarters in Apalit, Pampanga, Philippines. He was the main host of the radio and television program ''Ang Dating Daan'' ( English: The Old Path, Portuguese: ''O Caminho Antigo'', Spanish: ''El Camino Antiguo''), which is considered as the longest-running religious program in the Philippines. Apalit
Apalit, officially the Municipality of Apalit (; ), is a municipality in the province of Pampanga, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 117,160 people. ASOP Music Festival
The ASOP (A Song of Praise) Music Festival is an annual music festival held in Metro Manila, Philippines. Basically a songwriting competition, it is the only gospel music television program in the country. An original concept of Bro. Eli Soriano and Daniel Razon aiming to bring back praise songs to the public, it started in 2004 as a music competition inside the Members Church of God International but was later opened to the general public in 2011. The music festival also discourages rap and metal music entries. The program airs weekly on UNTV every Sunday night holding weekly and monthly eliminations. The show is hosted by Toni Rose Gayda and balladeer Richard Reynoso. For the first 6 years (2012-2017), the Grand Finals were held in Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City.
