Tejeda is a village and a municipality in the mountainous central part of the island of Gran Canaria in the province of Las Palmas in the Canary Islands. Location The village of Tejeda is situated north-west of the Pico de las Nieves and south-west of the island capital Las Palmas. Geography The municipality's area is , spreading near the centre of the island, on the latter's west side.
