La Sécurité
La Sécurité is a Canadian dance-punk group from Montreal, Quebec, whose debut album ''Stay Safe!'' was released in 2023. The band, consisting of vocalist Éliane Viens-Synnott, guitarists Melissa Di Menna and Laurence-Anne Charest-Gagné, bassist Félix Bélisle (Choses Sauvages) and Kenny Smith, was launched in 2020 as a side project during the COVID-19 lockdowns, when the members could not play in their primary bands. Laurence-Anne Charest Gagné is a Canadian pop singer from Quebec, whose debut album ''Première apparition'' was a longlisted nominee for the 2019 Polaris Music Prize. Originally from Saint-Pascal, Quebec, Saint-Pascal in the Kamouraska Regional County Municipality, Kamouraska RCM of Quebec, Gagné was a finalist in the 2017 edition of the Francouvertes music competition. COVID-19 Pandemic In Quebec
The COVID-19 pandemic in Quebec was part of the global pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), a novel infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Until 2021, Quebec had reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases in Canada, eventually overtaken by the neighbouring province of Ontario. The Go! Team
The Go! Team are an English indie rock band from Brighton, England. The band initially began as a solo project conceived by Ian Parton; however, after the unexpected success of the Go!
