La Cochette
La Cochette (; or Pointe de la Cochette) is a mountain of the Chartreuse Mountains culminating at 1618 m above sea level and located at the edge of Corbel, of Saint-Jean-de-Couz and of Entremont-le-Vieux in Savoie. Geography La Cochette is part of the Mount Outheran Range. The link extends to the south by its south antecime, the tip of the Grand Crêt, and ends at the Pointe de Thivelet. Corbel (; ) is a Communes of France, commune in the Savoie Departments of France, department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Regions of France, region in south-eastern France. It borders the department of Isère. Geography The township of Corbel has three main water streams: Gringalet, Hyères and Guiers Vif. The Gringalet separates ''Corbel valley'' from north to south and Guiers Vif goes on its southern border, in the gorges du Guiers. Saint-Jean-de-Couz is a commune in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. Geography Saint-Jean-de-Couz is located at the level of the col de Couz (630m) along the road D1006 which winds through the ''Couz valley'' between Saint-Thibaud-de-Couz north and Saint-Christophe-la-Grotte south. The village lies at the junction with the D45 road that climbs the slopes of La Cochette (1,617m), east. The Cochette ridge separates the township to Entremont-le-Vieux. The township is part of the Parc Naturel Régional de Chartreuse.
