The La Blanche Apartments is an historic, American building that is located in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. History and architectural features Built in 1910, this historic structure was designed in the Georgian Revival Georgian architecture is the name given in most English-speaking countries to the set of architectural styles current between 1714 and 1830. It is named after the first four British monarchs of the House of Hanover, George I, George II, Ge ... style. Part of the second wave of a housing boom in West Philadelphia that started with the completion of the Market Street Elevated line in 1907, this building was also one of the first large apartment buildings ever built in Philadelphia.
