''LSS (Last Song Syndrome)'' is a 2019 Filipino musical romantic drama film written and directed by Jade Castro, and starring Gabbi Garcia, Khalil Ramos, Tuesday Vargas, and Filipino folk-pop band Ben&Ben. It had a theatrical release in the Philippines on September 13, 2019, as one of the entries of the 2019 Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino. Plot Aspiring musician Sarah and hopeless romantic Zack find themselves in the most unfortunate situations in their separate lives. Struggling to navigate through life, they both unexpectedly found a common bond for their love of music and being fans of Ben&Ben coincidentally. After a series of events and unexpected encounters with each other, will that love for the 9-piece Filipino folk-pop band eventually bring and mend their broken hearts together? Jade Castro
Jade Francis Castro (born August 21, 1978) is a Filipino film director, screenwriter, and producer. He is best known for writing and directing ''Endo'' (2007), and ''Zombadings 1: Patayin sa Shokot si Remington'' (2011). Early and personal life Jade Castro was born on August 21, 1978. His mother Ruby, whose name takes after the Ruby, gemstone of the same name, also named him and his brother Jasper after precious rocks: Jade and Jasper. He studied high school at Elizabeth Seton School in Las Piñas, and graduated with a degree in film from the University of the Philippines in 2000. Legal issue In February 2024, Castro and three other individuals were arrested and charged for destructive arson in Catanauan, Quezon. Sugarfree is a Filipino rock band currently composed of Jal Taguibao on vocals and bass guitar, and Carlo "Kaka" Quisimbing on drums. Former notable members include chief songwriter and frontman Ebe Dancel on vocals and guitars, and Mitch Singson on drums.
