Les Rallizes Dénudés
were a Japanese rock band formed in 1967 at Kyoto's Doshisha University. History ''Les Rallizes Dénudés ''was formed in 1967 by a group of students at Kyoto's Doshisha University. Initially, the band planned to record in a studio, but after being dissatisfied with the results, agreed to exclusively play live shows. The band was initially active between 1967 and 1988, and then again briefly between 1993 and 1996 before permanently disbanding. The true meaning of the name ''Les Rallizes Dénudés'' is debated, however according to former member Moriaki Wakabayashi the word ''Rallizes'' comes from the Japanese word ''Rari'', which means being high and the word ''Dénudés (french word for naked)'' representing being their raw selves. The band's style is typified by simple, repetitious instrumental passages, shrieking, cacophonous guitar feedback and folk arrangement. Laredo International Airport is three miles northeast of downtown Laredo, in Webb County, Texas. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021 categorized it as a non-hub ''primary commercial service'' airport. "Little red dot" (or "The Red Dot", or "Little Red Dot") is a nickname often used in the media, and in casual conversation, as a reference to Singapore. It refers to how the nation is depicted on many maps of the world and of Asia as a red dot. The city-state comprising the main island and all its islets – a total land area of no more than – is much smaller than its Southeast Asian neighbours. The term was quickly adopted by both Singaporean politicians and citizens with pride and a sense of the nation's success despite its physical limitations. The Labour Research Department (LRD) is an independent trade union based research organisation, based in London, that provides information to support trade union activity and campaigns. About 2,000 trade union organisations, including 51 national unions in the UK, representing more than 99% of total Trades Union Congress (TUC) membership, are affiliated. LRD had its beginnings as the Committee of Inquiry into the Control of Industry, set up by the Fabian Society in 1912. The following year the committee was consolidated as the Fabian Research Department. Its first monthly bulletin was established in 1917, as the ''Monthly Circular''. In 1918 the organisation broadened its membership and changed its name to the Labour Research Department. The dollar (currency code ''LRD'') has been the currency of Liberia since 1943. It was also the country's currency between 1847 and 1907. It is normally abbreviated with the sign $, or alternatively L$ or LD$ to distinguish it from other dollar-denominated currencies. It is divided into 100 cents. First use The first Liberian dollar was issued in 1847. It was pegged to the US dollar at par and circulated alongside the US dollar until 1907, when Liberia adopted the British West African pound, which was pegged to sterling. Coins In 1847 and 1862, copper 1 and 2 cents coins were issued and were the only Liberian coins until 1896, when a full coinage consisting of 1, 2, 10, 25 and 50 cents coins were introduced.
