The Legatum Prosperity Index is an annual ranking developed by the Legatum Institute, an independent educational charity founded and part-funded by the private investment firm Legatum. (LPI) is a pricing index used to calculate increases in components of scheme pension payments in the UK. Currently, the statutory requirement for occupational pension schemes is that pensions in payment must be increased by the lower of RPI and 2.5% . Usually the lesser of the annual increase in the ''Retail Prices Index''(or ''Consumer Prices Index'') and 5%, although the percentage limit can vary. From April 2011, the index used for LPI will be switched from RPI to CPI(Consumer Price Index). Autogas
Autogas or LPG is liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) used as a fuel in internal combustion engines in vehicles as well as in stationary applications such as generators. It is a mixture of propane and butane. Autogas is widely used as a "green" fuel, as its use reduces exhaust emissions by around 15% compared to petrol. One litre of petrol produces 2.3 kg of when burnt, whereas the equivalent amount of autogas (1.33 litres due to the lower density of autogas) produces only 2 kg of when burnt.
