LOVB Salt Lake
LOVB Salt Lake is an American professional women's indoor volleyball team based in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is a member of LOVB Pro, which began play in January 2025. History In 2021, LOVB announced plans to start a professional women's volleyball league in the United States. Salt Lake City was announced as LOVB's fourth team location in June 2023. Jordyn Poulter and Haleigh Washington were the team's founding athletes. LOVB Salt Lake played its first home match, Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025 at Salt Lake Community College, drawing a sold-out crowd of 3,006 fans to the campus in Taylorsville, Utah. Maverik Center
Maverik Center, originally known as the E Center, is a 12,600-seat multi-purpose indoor arena located in West Valley City, Utah, United States. Construction on the arena started in 1996 and was completed in time to hold its first event on September 22, 1997. The arena is owned by West Valley City, and managed by Centennial Management Group. LOVB Pro (pronounced "love" and commonly referred to as League One Volleyball) is a women's professional indoor volleyball league in the United States. The league is owned by League One Volleyball (LOVB), a volleyball body founded in 2020. Its first season began in January 2025. Washington Huskies Women's Volleyball
The Washington Huskies volleyball team is the intercollegiate women's volleyball team of the University of Washington in Seattle. They compete in the Pac-12 Conference, Big Ten Conference and play their home games at Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion, which was built in 1927 and renovated in 2000. Prior to 1988, the Washington volleyball program had seen Huskies' victories, but it has now emerged as a perennial power. The Penn State Nittany Lions women's volleyball program has had a long tradition, founded in 1976 by Tom Tait (volleyball), Tom Tait, long-time coach of the Penn State men's team, who coached the women's team from 1976 to 1979 and was named a USA Volleyball All-Time great coach in 2007.
