LOVB Austin
LOVB Austin is an American professional women's indoor volleyball team based in Austin, Texas. It is a member of LOVB Pro, which began play in January 2025. History In 2021, LOVB announced plans to start a professional women's volleyball league in the United States. Austin, home of the Texas Longhorns women's volleyball team, was announced as LOVB's sixth team location in December 2023. Carli Lloyd was the team's founding player. Austin's inaugural roster for the 2025 season featured eight former Texas Longhorns, including Madisen Skinner, Logan Eggleston, Asjia O'NealSaige Ka'aha'aina-Torres and Zoe Jarvis. LOVB 2025 Pro Season
The 2025 LOVB Pro season was the inaugural season of the women's volleyball league LOVB Pro. Six teams competed over 14 weeks, including 12 weeks of regular season play, one mid-season tournament (LOVB Classic), and a one-weekend LOVB Finals. Teams LOVB Pro's inaugural season did not include a draft; however, it was announced in December 2024 that six rookies (referred to as The LOVB 6) were signed to play with one of the six teams. Three other rookies have joined the league during the league since January 2025. Pittsburgh Panthers women's volleyball, Pittsburgh Panthers alum Rachel Fairbanks was signed by LOVB Atlanta in January. H-E-B Center at Cedar Park is an indoor arena located in Cedar Park, Texas, near Austin. Originally named the Cedar Park Center, the arena is home to the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League and the Austin Spurs of the NBA G League. The 8,700-seat sports arena is located at the corner of 183A and New Hope Road in Cedar Park, Texas. The city of Cedar Park owns the arena, which is operated by Texas Stars L.P., a division of Northland Properties, the owner of the Dallas Stars and Texas Stars. Since opening, the arena has hosted sporting events, concerts and high school graduations. Asjia O'Neal
Asjia O'Neal (born October 23, 1999) is an American professional volleyball player for LOVB Austin. She played college volleyball for the Texas Longhorns and won back-to-back NCAA championships in 2022 and 2023. Early life O'Neal was born to National Basketball Association (NBA) player Jermaine O'Neal and his wife Mesha. She practiced basketball with her father after fourth grade and took up volleyball in seventh grade in 2012 after moving from Miami to Dallas. She played three years of varsity high school volleyball at Carroll Senior High School in Southlake, Texas. As a high school sophomore, she committed to the University of Texas at Austin. O'Neal was born with a heart murmur and mitral valve leak, for which she underwent open-heart surgery at age 13 and again after her freshman season of college. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the program at the Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympics. LOVB Pro (pronounced "love" and commonly referred to as League One Volleyball) is a women's professional indoor volleyball league in the United States. The league is owned by League One Volleyball (LOVB), a volleyball body founded in 2020. Its first season began in January 2025. The Kentucky Wildcats are the men's and women's intercollegiate athletic squads of the University of Kentucky (UK), a founding member of the Southeastern Conference. Washington Huskies Women's Volleyball
The Washington Huskies volleyball team is the intercollegiate women's volleyball team of the University of Washington in Seattle. They compete in the Pac-12 Conference, Big Ten Conference and play their home games at Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion, which was built in 1927 and renovated in 2000.
