LIV Golf Miami
The 2023 LIV Golf League was the second season of LIV Golf following the inaugural LIV Golf Invitational Series. The season consisted of thirteen 54-hole tournaments, featuring 48 players and no cut, with a team championship event at the season end. Talor Gooch won three tournaments during the season to claim the individual title by 22 points from Cameron Smith, with Brooks Koepka in third place. The team championship was won by Crushers GC, captained by Bryson DeChambeau, by two strokes from Range Goats GC; 4 Aces GC had topped the regular season points standings but finished in fourth place in the final. Smith, Koepka and DeChambeau all won twice during the season; the other winners were Charles Howell III, Danny Lee, Dustin Johnson and Harold Varner III. Talor Gooch
Talor Keith Gooch (born November 14, 1991) is an American professional golfer. Early life and amateur career Gooch was born in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He played college golf at Oklahoma State University. He was already drawing notice for his talent as a six-year-old. His father, Ron Gooch, played minor league professional baseball in the Texas Rangers organization. Professional career Gooch played on the PGA Tour Canada in 2015 and 2016. Patrick Anthony Perez (born March 1, 1976) is an American professional golfer who last played on the LIV Golf League. He was not resigned for the 2025 LIV Golf League. Peter Uihlein
Peter Uihlein ( ; born August 29, 1989) is an American professional golfer who formerly played on the PGA Tour and the European Tour and now plays in the LIV Golf League. He was a member of the victorious U.S. team at the 2009 Walker Cup, where he compiled a 4–0 match record. Official World Golf Ranking
The Official World Golf Ranking is a system for rating the performance level of professional golfers. It was started in 1986. The rankings are based on a player's position in individual tournaments (i.e. not pairs or team events) over a "rolling" two-year period. New rankings are calculated each week. During 2018, nearly 400 tournaments on 20 tours were covered by the ranking system. All players competing in these tournaments are included in the rankings. In 2025, 24 tours factored into the world rankings. As well as being of general interest, the rankings have an additional importance, in that they are used as one of the qualifying criteria for entry into a number of leading tournaments.
