LIV Golf Invitational London
The LIV Golf United Kingdom (formerly LIV Golf London) is a golf tournament that is held in the United Kingdom. The inaugural tournament was held in June 2022 at the Centurion Club near Hemel Hempstead, England, as part of the LIV Golf Invitational Series, a golf series led by Greg Norman and funded by the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund. The 2022 48-player field included Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Sergio García, and Kevin Na. Charl Schwartzel won the inaugural event, finishing one shot ahead of Hennie du Plessis. Format The tournament was a 54-hole individual stroke play event, with a team element. Four man teams were selected via a draft by their designated team captains, with a set number of their total scores counting for the team on each day. Each round commenced with a shotgun start, with the leaders beginning on the first hole for the final round, in order to finish on the eighteenth. Centurion Club
The Centurion Club is a golf club in Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire. The club opened in 2013. It has hosted the GolfSixes series in 2017 and 2018 and the Aramco Team Series. Hennie Du Plessis
Hennie du Plessis (born 14 October 1996) is a South African professional golfer who currently plays on the European Tour and the Sunshine Tour. He also played in the inaugural LIV Golf Invitational Series. Professional career Du Plessis turned professional in 2015 and joined the Sunshine Tour after finishing number one at Q-School. In 2016 he recorded five top-5 finishes, including a tie for second at Vodacom Origins of Golf at Wild Coast Sun, behind Madalitso Muthiya. Branden Grace
Branden John Grace (born 20 May 1988) is a professional golfer from South Africa who currently plays for LIV Golf. He formerly played on the European Tour, the PGA Tour, and the Sunshine Tour. In 2012, he became the first player in the history of the European Tour to win his first four European Tour titles in the same year. Talor Keith Gooch (born November 14, 1991) is an American professional golfer. Early life and amateur career Gooch was born in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Oliver Fisher
Oliver James Fisher (born 13 September 1988) is an English professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He also played in the inaugural LIV Golf Invitational Series. Early years and amateur career Fisher was born in Chingford, London. He was a winner of the Faldo Series, Nick Faldo's development programme for young golfers, in 2003, 2004 and 2005, and as such was regarded as one of the best prospects of his generation. Laurence Richard Canter (born 3 November 1989) is an English professional golfer who has been ranked inside the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking. He has been a member of the European Tour, and also played on LIV Golf, the Asian Tour, and several lower level tours. He is a former amateur champion in both South Africa and Spain. Richard Bland (born 3 February 1973) is an English professional golfer who currently plays on the LIV Golf League. In 2021, he became the oldest first-time winner on the European Tour when he won the Betfred British Masters aged 48. He also won two senior major championships in 2024; the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship and the U.S. Senior Open. Career Bland was born in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, England.
