''LA 92'' is a 2017 American documentary film about the 1992 Los Angeles riots, directed by Daniel Lindsay and T. J. Martin. It premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 21, 2017, opened in theaters on April 28, 2017 and aired on National Geographic (U.S. TV channel), National Geographic Channel on April 30, 2017. Dan Lindsay is an American documentary filmmaker. He is the co-director, producer and an editor of the 2011 sports documentary ''Undefeated (2011 film), Undefeated'', which received the 2011 Oscar for Best Documentary Feature. Lindsay and T. J. Martin co-directed ''LA 92 (film), LA 92'' for National Geographic (American TV channel), National Geographic Channel in early 2017. In June 2017, Lindsay was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Exceptional Merit in Documentary Filmmaking. In 2021, Lindsay and T. J. Martin co-directed a documentary film about the life of singer Tina Turner, titled ''Tina (2021 film), Tina'', for HBO. The same year, Lindsay signed a first look deal with Imagine Documentaries.
