L7 (band)
L7 is an American punk rock band founded in Los Angeles, California, first active from 1985 to 2001 and re-formed in 2014. Their longest standing lineup consists of Suzi Gardner (guitars, vocals), Donita Sparks (vocals, guitars), Jennifer Finch (bass, vocals), and Demetra Plakas, Dee Plakas (drums, vocals). L7 has released seven studio albums and has toured widely in the US, Europe, Japan, Australia, and South America. "Pretend We're Dead" was heavily played on US alternative radio and entered the top 10 on the Billboard Modern Rock chart, ''Billboard'' Modern Rock chart in 1992. Due to their sound and image, L7 is often associated with the grunge movement of the late 1980s and early 1990s, and as an all-female band, L7 has, at times, been linked to riot grrrl; although they preceded and are outliers of both the grunge and riot grrrl movements. The Li L7 () is a range-extender luxury mid-size crossover SUV produced by Chinese manufacturer Li Auto. It is the fourth vehicle from the manufacturer, and also the third L-series model, a series of electric SUVs with a petrol engine acting as a range extender, which includes the similar L9, L8 and L6. Overview The Li L7 was presented in September 2022, at that time as the company's least expensive and smallest model, while sharing the same wheelbase with the longer Li L8. During its introduction, the Li L7 was available in three trims: Air, Pro, and Max. Since 2024, the Ultra trim level became available. Deliveries of the L7 Pro and L7 Max began on March 1, while deliveries of the base L7 Air started in early April 2023. The Motorola Slvr L7 (styled SLVR L7), also marketed as MOTOSLVR, is a candybar style mobile phone made by Motorola for GSM networks. It was announced at the 3GSM fair on February 14, 2005 originally under the name SLVR V8. Inspired by the Motorola Razr V3, the Slvr shares the same flat keypad and was designed to be thin and compact: it was just thick which was considered very thin at the time. Two main updated versions were also made: the Slvr L7e announced in October 2006 adds EDGE data, upgrades the camera to 1.3-megapixels, and upgrades Bluetooth capabilities. The Royal Ordnance L7, officially designated Gun, 105 mm, Tank, L7, is the basic model of the United Kingdom's most successful tank gun. It is a 105 mm L/52 rifled design by the Royal Ordnance Factories, intended for use in armoured fighting vehicles, replacing the older QF 20-pounder (84 mm) gun mounted on the British Centurion tank. The successful L7 gun has been fitted on many armoured vehicles, including the Centurion (starting from the Mk. 5/2 variant), the German Leopard 1 and, in an altered design, as the M68 gun in several variants of the US M48 Patton and M60. Landsat 7
Landsat 7 is the seventh satellite of the Landsat program. Launched on 15 April 1999, Landsat 7's primary goal is to refresh the global archive of satellite photos, providing up-to-date and cloud-free images. The Landsat program is managed and operated by the United States Geological Survey, and data from Landsat 7 is collected and distributed by the USGS. The NASA WorldWind project allows 3D images from Landsat 7 and other sources to be freely navigated and viewed from any angle. The satellite's companion, Earth Observing-1, trailed by one minute and followed the same orbital characteristics, but in 2011 its fuel was depleted and EO-1's orbit began to degrade. Landsat 7 was built by Lockheed Martin Space Systems. ''L7'' is the debut studio album by American rock band L7, released in 1988 by Epitaph Records. It demonstrates the band's punk rock origins, although there are traces of the heavier grunge sound that dominated their later work. Production The album was recorded in Brett Gurewitz's studio, in Hollywood, California. It is the band's only album with drummer Roy Koutsky. The album's first track, "Bite the Wax Tadpole," refers to the legend that this is a Chinese transliteration of "Coca-Cola."
