Køge Stadion (currently known as Capelli Sport Stadion for sponsorship reasons), is a multi-purpose sports venue located in Køge, Denmark. Køge Municipality (, ) is a '' kommune'' in the Region Sjælland on the east coast of the island of Zealand approx. 40 km southwest of Copenhagen. HB Køge () is a professional Danish football club based primarily in the town of Herfølge, and secondly in the town of Køge, both in the Køge Municipality, part of 'Region of Zealand', in the eastern part of Zealand, south of Copenhagen. It was created through the merger of Herfølge and Køge Boldklub in 2009. History The Danish 1st Division club Herfølge and bankrupt club Køge Boldklub decided in March 2009 to merge. HB Køge Women (), commonly known as HB Køge, is a Danish women's football club based in Køge, Denmark. Founded in 2009 as HB Køge Pigefodbold, the club plays in the Elitedivisionen. Like the men's team, which is under different ownership, they play their home matches at the Køge Stadium.
