Kåre Jostein Simonsen
Kåre Jostein Simonsen (born March 26, 1948) is a Norwegian bandoneonist. He has been a regular member of the Tango Concertino and Trio Troika in Trondheim, and now plays in ensembles Quinteto Nidaros ( piazzollaquintet - bandoneon, violin, electric guitar, piano and double bass) and Cholo tango duet/ trio. Biography Education Simonsen is basically self-taught musician from the early 60 - century with accordion as the main instrument. As early as 12 years old he accompanied Elisabeth Granneman on a show in Oppdal. In 1962 he formed, along with Harald Sæther on guitar and Harald Øiamo on percussion the dance orchestra Simonsens Trio. The trio disbanded in 1964. In 1969 he started his musical education at the Veitvet Music Conservatory in Oslo accordion as the main instrument. Harald Sæther
Harald Sæther (born 9 May 1946) is a Norwegian composer with a diploma (MA) from Grieg Academy (2008) . He is member of the Norwegian Society of Composers and New Music Composers Group (NMK) where he was chairman from 2009 to 2011. Biography Education Sæther is basically a self-taught musician from the early 1960s, with guitar - later electric bass - as his main instrument. In 1963 he, along with three other boys, formed a rock and roll group - The Spiritual Man Group - in Oppdal Municipality, Norway. This group disbanded in 1966, and in 1967, he and four other boys formed the hard rock band Hapax Legomenon which was disbanded in the summer of 1970. Trøndelag Teater
Trøndelag Teater is a large theater in the city of Trondheim, in Trøndelag county, Norway. Trøndelag Teater stages large-scale dance and musical performances. History Originally built in 1816, the theater is the oldest stage in Scandinavia in continuous use. Rodolfo (Cholo) Montironi
Rodolfo Miguel Montironi (born December 4, 1931, in Rosario, Argentina) is an Argentine bandoneonist, conductor, composer and arranger who has been involved in many tango orchestras in addition to his own. Biography Early life Montironi was born at Centenario Hospital in Rosario but resides in Pueblo Paganini, currently named Granadero Baigorria, a small town north of Rosario, and he has lived his entire life in this city. At the age of five, he received a bandoneon (from his mother) of German origin. The first musical training he received was from the accordionist Jesus Angel Videla. After receiving some teaching he performed in school productions and at local festivals. He made his radio debut in 1939 (eight years old) on the program'' La hora de todos'' (Time for all) aired on Cerealista LT3 Radio City Rosario.
