Kyt Jimenez
Krystoffe Jimenez (born March 21, 1997) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the San Miguel Beermen of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Born in Saudi Arabia, he is just one of two players to achieve a quadruple-double in a Philippine professional basketball game, the other being Donbel Belano. Jimenez played his college career with FEU and Perpetual before suffering multiple injuries. He made his professional debut in 2022 with the Sarangani Marlins of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) before moving to the GenSan Warriors in 2023. During the PBA season 48 draft, Jimenez was drafted by San Miguel in the ninth round with the 76th overall pick. After signing a two-year deal with the team, he became the lowest draft pick to be signed by a PBA team. 2022–23 Pilipinas Super League DUMPER Cup
The 2022–23 Pilipinas Super League DUMPER Cup was the second tournament of the Pilipinas Super League (PSL) Pro Division. The regular season began on November 23, 2022, and ended on March 11, 2023. The playoffs then began on March 13, 2023, and ended on March 30, 2023. The entire tournament is sponsored by the DUMPER Partylist, hence the name. The 2023 PSL All-Star Game took place on March 18, 2023 at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando, Pampanga. The San Juan Kings finished the regular season with the first undefeated record in PSL history. The 2024 PBA Philippine Cup also known as the 2024 Honda PBA Philippine Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the second and final conference of the 2023–24 PBA season of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The 45th PBA Philippine Cup started on February 28 and ended on June 16, 2024. The tournament does not allow teams to hire foreign players or imports. The opening was originally scheduled on March 3, but was moved earlier to February 28 to give way for the Philippines men's national basketball team's participation in the FIBA Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament to be held on July 2–7, 2024. The Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots, or simply known as the Magnolia Hotshots, are a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association. The team is owned by San Miguel Food and Beverage, Inc., a subsidiary of San Miguel Corporation (SMC). The Oriental Mindoro Disiplinados (formerly Mindoro Tamaraws) are a professional basketball team competing in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). They also played as the Mindoro Tamaraws Disiplinados in the National Basketball League. The PBA Season 48 draft was the 38th edition of the PBA draft. It was held at Market! Market! in Taguig on September 17, 2023. It was an event that allowed teams to take turns selecting amateur basketball players and other eligible players, including half-Filipino foreign players. The league determined the drafting order based on the performance of the member teams from the 2022–23 season, with the worst team, the Terrafirma Dyip, picking first. The Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) is a men's professional sports, professional basketball league in the Philippines. History Manny Pacquiao launched the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League on August 29, 2017, starting off as a semi-professional league. According to Pacquiao, the league is not intended to be a competitor to the Philippine Basketball Association, the country's top professional basketball league.
