Kyrylo Marsak
Kyrylo Andriyovych Marsak ( uk, Кирило Андрійович Марсак; born 7 September 2004) is a Ukrainian figure skater. He is the 2022 Tallinn Trophy, 2022 Volvo Open Cup bronze medalist, and a two-time Ukrainian national champion (2023-24). Personal life Marsak was born in Kherson, Ukraine and grew up in Kyiv. He has a sister that is six years older. Career Early years Marsak began learning to skate in 2009. In the 2018–19 season, he made his first appearance at the senior-level Ukrainian Championships. 2021–22 season For most of the season, Marsak trained in Kyiv, coached by Dmytro Shkidchenko. On 24 February 2022, Russia launched a massive invasion of Ukraine. At the time, Marsak was 17 and living with his family in Kyiv. 2023 World Figure Skating Championships
The 2023 World Figure Skating Championships will be held in Saitama, Japan from March 20–26, 2023. The competition will determine the entry quotas for each federation at the 2024 World Championships. Qualification Age and minimum TES requirements Skaters will be eligible for the 2023 World Championships if they turned 15 years of age before July 1, 2022, and if they met the minimum technical elements score requirements. The ISU accepts scores if they were obtained at senior-level ISU-recognized international competitions during the ongoing season at least 21 days before the first official practice day of the championships or during the preceding season. 2023 World Junior Figure Skating Championships
The 2023 World Junior Figure Skating Championships was held in Calgary, Canada, from February 27 to March 5, 2023.
