Kyonggi University
Kyonggi University (KGU; ) is a private university in South Korea that was established in 1947. Originally established as a school in Seoul, it was eventually expanded and upgraded to a college and then a university. There are two campuses: the main campus in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, Gyeonggi-do, and the Seoul campus in Seodaemun District. It has over 17,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students in the two campuses. KGU has 11 colleges containing 63 programs of study and 12 graduate schools. Kyonggi University's education and research focuses on Tourism, Hospitality, Arts and Design, Business, International Studies, Environmental Engineering, and Architectural Engineering. KGU teaches some of its courses in English. KGU has established partnership with 152 universities in 31 countries. KGU has a Korean language program. Over 650 international students study at KGU. Suwon (; ) is the largest city and capital of Gyeonggi Province, South Korea's most populous province. The city lies approximately south of the national capital, Seoul. Baby V.O.X () is a South Korean girl group formed in 1997, whose final and best-known line-up consisted of Kim E-Z, Lee Hee-jin, Shim Eun-jin, Kan Mi-youn, and Yoon Eun-hye. Shim Eun-jin (; born February 6, 1981) is a South Korean singer and actress. She was a member of South Korean girl group Baby V.O.X. Career Shim Eun-jin launched her singing career in 1998 as a member of Baby V.O.X, one of the most prominent South Korean girl groups of the 1990s. She was the first to leave the group at the end of 2004, publicly stating that she did not agree with the direction their record company DR Music was heading.
