Kymberly Evanson
Kymberly Kathryn Evanson (née Kymberly Kathryn Evans; born 1977) is an American lawyer who serves as a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. Education Evanson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Seattle University in 1999 and a Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2007. At Seattle University, she was a recipient of the Sullivan Leadership Award, and was also selected as a 1998 Truman Scholar. Career From 2002 to 2004, Evanson worked as a program coordinator for the Access to Justice Institute at Seattle University School of Law. In 2005, she was a law clerk at Cashdan & Kane LLP in Washington, D.C. In 2006, she was an intern in the United States Department of Justice Civil Division. The Standing Rules of the Senate are the parliamentary procedures adopted by the United States Senate that govern its procedure. The Senate's power to establish rules derives from Article One, Section5 of the United States Constitution: "Each House may determine the rules of its proceedings..." There are currently forty-five rules, with the latest revision adopted on January 24, 2013.
