Kyimyindaing Township
Kyimyindaing Township (, ; also Kyeemyindaing Township, Kyimyindine, or Kyi Myin Dine, and anglicised as Kemmendine) is located in the western part of Yangon, and shares borders with Kamayut Township in the north, the Yangon River and Twante Township in the west, Sanchaung Township in the east, and Ahlon Township in the south. Ahlon District
Ahlon District (, ) is a District in Yangon Region, Myanmar. It is a township of Yangon and contains three townships. The district was created in 2022, being one of the new districts created from the former West Yangon District. Administration The district has three townships- Ahlon Township, Sanchaung Township and Kyimyindaing Township. The Ahlone Township Court was upgraded to a district-level court. The district is stretches across the Yangon River as Kyimyindaing incorporates the western bank of the river as well. Kamayut Township
Kamayut Township (, ; also spelt Kamaryut Township) is located in the north central part of Yangon. The township comprises ten wards, and shares borders with Hlaing township in the north, Hlaing township and Kyimyindaing township in the west, the Inya Lake, Bahan township and Mayangon township in the east, and Sanchaung township in the south. One of the most prosperous areas in Yangon (a prime upmarket area), Kamayut is also the "college town" of the Yangon. Twante Township
Twante Township also Twantay Township (, ) is a township in the Yangon Region of Burma (Myanmar). It is located west across the Hlaing River from the city of Yangon. The principal town and administrative seat is Twante. Ahlone Township ( ; also Ahlon Township) is located in the western part of Yangon. The township comprises eleven wards, and shares borders with Sanchaung township and Kyimyindaing township in the north, the Yangon river in the west, Dagon township in the east, and Lanmadaw township in the south. Mon Language
The Mon language, formerly known as Peguan and Talaing, is an Austroasiatic language spoken by the Mon people. Mon, like the related Khmer language, but unlike most languages in mainland Southeast Asia, is not tonal.
