Kyan Evans
Kyan Evans is an American college basketball player for North Carolina Tar Heels of the Atlantic Coast Conference. He previously played for the Colorado State Rams. Early life and high school After a decorated high school and AAU career, Evans committed to play college basketball for the Colorado State Rams. College career As a freshman in 2023-24, Evans averaged 1.7 points per game in 36 games. Heading into his sophomore season in 2024-25, he became a full-time starter after sitting behind Isaiah Stevens. On December 4, 2024, Evans hit four threes in a victory over Loyola Marymount. On February 25, 2025, he scored 20 points in a victory over Air Force. In the first round of the 2025 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, Evans dropped a career-high 23 points and six threes in an upset win over fifth seed Memphis. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. The 2025 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament was a single-elimination tournament to determine the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I men's college basketball national champion for the 2024–25 season. Isaiah T. Stevens (born November 1, 2000) is an American professional basketball player for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association (NBA), on a two-way contract with the Stockton Kings of the NBA G League.
