Kwan Poomjang
Suchakree "Kwan" Poomjang (; born 2 January 1975) is a Thai former professional snooker player who spent three years on the sport's World Snooker Tour, main tour between 2001 and 2004. He reached the final stages of a tournament once, at the 2002 UK Championship (snooker), 2002 UK Championship, and attained his highest Snooker world rankings, ranking - 69th - for the 2003–04 snooker season, 2003–04 season. Poomjang's younger brother, Dechawat Poomjaeng, also became a snooker player, and was active on the main tour between 2011 and 2017. Paul Davison
Paul S. Davison (born 1 October 1971) is an English former professional snooker player from Pickering, North Yorkshire. First earning a place on the World Snooker Tour in 1992, he played on the tour until 1997, and has since regained his place on the Tour on three further occasions, most recently in the 2018-19 snooker season. Davison reached a peak of 70th in the world snooker rankings in 2012, and the farthest into a ranking tournament at the 2017 Riga Masters. The International Billiards & Snooker Federation (IBSF) is an organisation that governs non-professional snooker and English billiards around the world. As of January 2020, the organisation is headquartered in Doha, Qatar. History The World Billiards and Snooker Council (WB&SC) was established in 1971, following a meeting of a number of national associations at a hotel in Malta during the World Amateur Billiards Championship. Ryan Day (born 23 March 1980) is a Welsh professional snooker player. He is a prolific break-builder, having compiled over 450 century breaks during his career, including four maximum breaks. He is a three-time World Championship quarter-finalist, has been ranked at no. 6 in the world and has won four ranking tournaments. Stephen Maguire (born 13 March 1981) is a Scottish professional snooker player. He has won six major ranking tournaments, including the 2004 UK Championship, and has twice since reached the finals of that event. Maguire turned professional in 1998 after winning the IBSF World Snooker Championship. He was in the top 16 of the snooker world rankings for 11 consecutive years, from 2005 to 2016, twice reaching world no. 2. 2016 Six-red World Championship
The 2016 SangSom Six-red World Championship was a six-red snooker tournament held between 5 and 10 September 2016 at the Bangkok Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand. It featured 48 players from 16 different nations. Thepchaiya Un-Nooh was the defending champion, but he lost 2–6 in the last 16 round to Stephen Maguire. Ding Junhui won the title by beating Stuart Bingham 8–7 in the final. Bingham won the first frame of the final, but Ding then built a 3–1 lead. The match then went to 4-4. 2004 World Snooker Championship
The 2004 World Snooker Championship (officially the 2004 Embassy World Snooker Championship) was a professional snooker tournament that took place from 17 April to 3 May 2004 at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, England. It was the 28th consecutive year the World Snooker Championship was held at the Crucible. The eighth and final ranking event of the 2003–04 snooker season, the tournament was organised by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association and sponsored by cigarette company Embassy. The total prize fund was £1,378,920, of which the winner received £250,000. Qualifying rounds for the tournament took place from 10 to 20 February 2004 at Pontins in Prestatyn, Wales. Graeme Dott
Graeme Dott (born 12 May 1977) is a Scottish professional snooker player and snooker coach from Larkhall. He turned professional in 1994 and first entered the top 16 in 2001. He has won two ranking titles, the 2006 World Snooker Championship and the 2007 China Open, and was runner-up in the World Championships of 2004 and 2010. He reached number 2 in the world rankings in 2007, but a subsequent episode of clinical depression seriously affected his form, causing him to drop to number 28 for the 2009–10 season.
