Kvesarum Castle
Kvesarum Castle or Qvesarum Castle ( or ''Qvesarums slott'') is a castle and an estate, located in Södra Rörum of the Hörby Municipality, Scania, Sweden. It is first mentioned in 1388, then spelled ''Quixarum''. The current building was completed in 1865. The current owner is Christina Feith-Wachtmeister (née Wachtmeister), who is married to the Dutch diplomat Pieter Feith. A castle is a type of fortification, fortified structure built during the Middle Ages predominantly by the nobility or royalty and by Military order (monastic society), military orders. Wachtmeister (noble Family)
(Wm; German for 'master-sentinel' or 'watch-master') is a military rank of non-commissioned officers (NCO) in Austria and Switzerland. It is also used in civil authorities in German-speaking countries (police, judiciary, customs service, border protection). The was initially responsible for the guard duty of the army. Later, it became the equivalent NCO-grade of the cavalry and artillery. Pieter Feith
Pieter Cornelis Feith (born 9 February 1945) is a Dutch diplomat, formerly serving as the European Union Special Representative (EUSR) and as the International Civilian Representative in Kosovo. About Feith was born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and studied political science at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, and is a graduate of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Medford, Massachusetts, United States (1970). Lund Cathedral () is a cathedral of the Lutheran Church of Sweden in Lund, Scania, Sweden. It is the seat of the Bishop of Lund and the main church of the Diocese of Lund.
