Godefroid Kurth (1847–1916) was a Belgian historian and pioneering Christian democrat. James Kurth (born 1938) is the Claude C. Smith Professor Emeritus of Political Science at Swarthmore College, where he taught defense policy, foreign policy, and international politics. In 2004, Kurth also became the editor of '' Orbis'', a professional journal on international relations and U.S. foreign policy published by the Foreign Policy Research Institute (FPRI) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kurth received his BA in history from Stanford University and his MA and PhD in political science from Harvard University, where he was mentored by Samuel P. Huntington. Ernst Kurth (1 June 1886 – 2 August 1946) was a Swiss music theorist of Austrian origin. Life and career Ernst Kurth was born in Vienna on 1 June 1886. Kurth studied musicology there with Guido Adler (a student of Anton Bruckner, Bruckner and Eduard Hanslick, Hanslick) at Vienna University and privately with Robert Gund, earning his Ph.D. (1908) with a thesis about Christoph Willibald Gluck's operatic style. Face to Face is a punk rock band from Victorville, California, formed in 1991 by frontman Trever Keith, bassist Matt Riddle and drummer Rob Kurth. The band rose to fame with their 1995 album '' Big Choice'', featuring the radio hit " Disconnected" which received heavy rotation on KROQ radio in Los Angeles and appeared in the movies ''Tank Girl (film), Tank Girl'' and ''National Lampoon's Senior Trip''.
