Kurchaloyevsky District (; , ''Kurçaloyn khoşt'') is one of the fifteen administrativeDecree #500 and municipalLaw #13-RZ district (raion), in the Chechen Republic, Russia. The area of the district is and is located east of the republic. Its administrative center is the town of Kurchaloy. Its population is 101,625 ( 2002 Census). The population of Kurchaloy accounts for 19.9% of the district's total population. Healthcare State health facilities are represented by one central district hospital in Kurchaloy and two district hospitals in Tsotsin-Yurt and Alleroy. Kurchaloy (, ''Kurçaloy-Ġala''; ) is a town and the administrative center of Kurchaloyevsky District, Chechnya. Population: Administrative and municipal status Municipally, Kurchaloy is incorporated as Kurchaloyevsky urban settlement. It is the administrative center of the municipality and is the only settlement included in it. Kurchaloy is also the administrative center of Kurchaloyevsky District. Geography The town of Kurchaloy is located in the foothill plains, on the right bank of the Gumsa, a tributary of the Sunzha. Alleroy (; , ''Jalaroy-Evla'') is a types of inhabited localities in Russia, rural locality (a ''village#Russia, selo'') in Kurchaloyevsky District of the Chechen Republic, Russia. Chechen Republic
Chechnya, officially the Chechen Republic, is a republic of Russia. It is situated in the North Caucasus of Eastern Europe, between the Caspian Sea and Black Sea. The republic forms a part of the North Caucasian Federal District, and shares land borders with Georgia to its south; with the Russian republics of Dagestan, Ingushetia, and North Ossetia–Alania to its east, north, and west; and with Stavropol Krai to its northwest. A raion (also spelt rayon) is a type of administrative unit of several post-Soviet states. The term is used for both a type of subnational entity and a division of a city.
