Kundi (Pashtun Tribe)
The Kundi ( ps, کُنډی; ur, کُنڈی ) is a sub-tribe of the Niazi tribe of Pashtuns, that inhabit most areas of Tank, Pakistan, Tank and Dera Ismail Khan, D.I.Khan. Background The Kundi are a sub-tribe of the Niazi tribe that live in Di khan, Mianwali, Waziristan. In Tank, Pakistan, Tank, they have spread along the Tank-Darra Pezu road, extending up to Ama Khel, Amakhel And Mulazai and the adjoining Bettani area. The Mulazai is accessible through a road that begins at the old Gul Imam railway station. The area around this road is mainly inhabited by Kundis, with a little pocket of Marwats. The Kundi area acts as a buffer zone between Tank and Marwats connected through the Pezu and Bayan pass. These were the old caravan routes on which the British constructed as Asphalt concrete, asphalt roads. Niazi
Niazi (; , ps, نيازي; ur, نیازی) Niazai, Nyazi, Nyazai, Niyazi or Niyazai is one of the largest Pashtun tribes which resides in Afghanistan and northwestern part of Pakistan. The earliest work which provides the details about origin of Niazis is ''Makhzani-i-Afghani'' (1610 AD), written by Naimatullah under the patronage of Khan Jahan Lodi, an Afghan noble of Mughal emperor Jahangir. Kaniguram
Kānīgūram ( ps, کانيګورم) is a town in South Waziristan, Pakistan about 10 km south of the town of Ladha. Located within the heart of Mahsud land in Waziristan, Kaniguram is the principal place associated with the Ormur or Burki tribe. It was the hometown of the sixteenth-century Pashtun revolutionary leader and warrior-poet Bayazid Pir Roshan, who wrote the first known book of Pashto language. According to the 2017 Census, Kaniguram is located in Ladha Tehsil of South Waziristan and has population of 13,809. Today the locals in the town speak Ormuri as well as the Waziristani (Maseedwola) dialect of Pashto. Ibrahimkhel or Ibrahimkhil (Pashto:ابراهيمخيل) is a major Pashtun tribe, living in places such as Kabul, Kandahar, Paktia, Paktika, Laghman, Jowzjan, Qunduz, Mazar-i-Sharif, Herat, Peshawar, Quetta, Upper Dir Lower Dir, Bajour and some other parts of Pakistan, as well as in a small village of Swat District named Biha near Matta.
