Kumchon County
Kŭmch'ŏn County is a county in the North Hwanghae province of North Korea. It has a population of 68,216. Geography Kŭmch'ŏn is bordered to the west by Kaesŏng, to the south by Kaep'ung, to the northwest by T'osan, and to the north by Mt. Pakbong (562 m) and Sin'gye county. It is bordered to the east by the Ryesŏng River, P'yŏngsan, and Pongch'ŏn county (in South Hwanghae). According to preliminary results from the 2008 population census, it has a population of 3,255,388. Climate Kŭmch'ŏn had a fairly severe climate, with an average temperature of 10.2 degrees. Inland, the average January temperature is -7 degrees, while the average August temperature is 25.6 degrees. The county receives an average of 1,100 mm of rain per year. Geumcheon District
Geumcheon District () is one of the 25 ''gu'' (districts) of Seoul, South Korea. It was created from southern parts of Guro District and tiny sections from Gwangmyeong in 1995. Its district office is located in front of Siheung Station, now Geumcheon District Office Station, in Siheung-dong. Geumcheon District is located in the southwest corner of the city, south of the Han River. It is bordered on the west by the Anyang River, and partially on the east by Gwanak Mountain, a dominating part of Seoul's southern skyline. Many technology companies are housed in Geumcheon District and several large headquarters are located here, albeit the income level of Seoulites here is lower than average. The Gyeongbu railway from Seoul Station to Busan station passes through, as well as Seoul Subway Lines 1 and 7. The mayor of this district has been Cha Sung-su () since July 2010. Geumcheon-myeon, Cheongdo County
Geumcheon-myeon is a myeon, or township, in eastern Cheongdo County, North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. Geumcheon-myeon is composed of 10 subdivisions known as legal ri. It covers an area of . As of 2022, Geumcheon-myeon had a registered resident population of 3,281. Of these, 3,222 (98.2%) were Korean. The average age of residents in Geumcheon-myeon was 62.4. The Dongchang River runs through Geumcheon-myeon. Geumcheon is also the home of the Ungang Old House and Geumcheon Middle and High School, the only High School in eastern Cheongdo. It is also home to several Buddhist temples and historic Confucian academies. More than 4,000 head of cattle are raised in Geumcheon-myeon.
