Kumari, Nepal
Kumari is a Village development committee (Nepal), village development committee in Nuwakot District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 6458 people living in 1132 individual households. Clinic The Sukman Medical Polyclinic was built by the Health and Ed 4 Nepal non-profit, which provides ongoing support. The clinic was severely damaged by the 23 April 2015 earthquake that struck Nepal but remains in partial operation. Schools The local pre-secondary school, Shree Bikash, was also severely damaged in the 23 April 2015 earthquake and its remains were demolished. Re-building of the school began in November 2015 via funding sourced by the non-profits Trekking for Kids and Health and Ed 4 Nepal. Nagaraja Kumari Maddela (1921 – 3 March 2008), better known as Kumari, was a renowned Indian actress, playback singer, musician, beauty queen, and a model. She was the first Indian actress to play dual-roles in film. She pioneered the art of playing multiple roles in a single film. She was also one of the first Indian faces used by Lux (soap), a brand that pioneered female celebrity endorsement, and have since used famous faces such as Aishwarya Rai. She was born in Tenali in 1921. She wanted to be an actress since she was a child but her parents did not approve of her aspirations. Her relative Anjaiah Puvvala became her agent and booked her for acting in ''Dasavataram'' in 1936. This was her debut film, where she played three roles as Lakshmi, Seetha and Yashodhara. In 1939, she played the heroine in her second film ''Amma'' directed by Niranjan Pal. She portrayed the role of Chitralekha in ''Usha'' in the same year. Kumari Kamala (born 16 June 1934) is an Indian dancer and actress (also known as Kamala Lakshman). Initially featured as a child dancer, Kamala appeared in almost 100 Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada films throughout her career.
