Kukuryki
Kukuryki is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Terespol, within Biała Podlaska County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus. It lies approximately north of Terespol, east of Biała Podlaska, and north-east of the regional capital Lublin. A major road border crossing on Poland's National Road DK68 into Belarus is located at the village. Kazłovičy is located across the border. A2 Autostrada (Poland)
The A2 motorway in Poland, officially named the Motorway of Freedom (), is a Highways in Poland, motorway which runs from the Germany–Poland border, Polish-German border (connecting to Bundesautobahn 12, A12 autobahn near Świecko/Frankfurt (Oder), Frankfurt an der Oder), through Poznań and Łódź to Warsaw and, in the future, to the Belarus–Poland border, Polish-Belarusian border (connecting to M1 highway (Belarus), M1 highway near Terespol/Brest, Belarus, Brest). National Road 68 (Poland)
National road 68 (, abbreviated as DK68) is a main road of accelerated traffic () belonging to the Polish national road network. The length of the route is , of which is maintained by General Directorate for National Roads and Highways (, abbreviated as ''GDDKiA''). The highway connects the Kukuryki border crossing on Belarus–Poland border with national road 2 in Wólka Dobryńska. It runs entirely in Lublin Voivodeship, in Biała County (Terespol and Zalesie gminas). According to signage, national road 68 is a component of European highway E30. From February 14, 1986 until the road network reform in 2000, the route was signed as national road 812. Terespol
Terespol (; ) is a border town in eastern Poland on the border with Belarus. It lies on the border river Bug, directly opposite the city of Brest, Belarus. It has 5,794 inhabitants as of 2014. Overview Since 1999 Terespol has been within Biała Podlaska County in Lublin Voivodeship. Between 1975 and 1998 it belonged to Biała Podlaska Voivodeship. The town is a busy border crossing between Poland and Belarus on the European route E30 which links Berlin-Warsaw-Minsk-Moscow. Another crossing into Brest is located at Kukuryki northwest of Terespol. There was also a local train between Brest and Terespol. It comes 3 times a day. The trip took 18 minutes and was a very comfortable way of crossing border between Belarus and Poland. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the train was cancelled at the beginning of 2020 and has been suspended for an indefinite period. Gmina Terespol is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Biała Podlaska County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland, on the border with Belarus. Its seat is the town of Terespol, although the town is not part of the territory of the gmina. The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 7,037 (6,839 in 2014).
