''Kuiko'' is a 2023 Indian Tamil-language satirical comedy film, written and directed by T. Arul Chezhian. Produced by AST Films, with the film stars Vidharth and Yogi Babu in the lead roles. The film was released theatrically on 24 November 2023. Cast Production The film was announced to the media by Lyca Productions in January 2023 as a part of the Netflix Pandigai online event. The film marked the debut of T. Arul Chezhian, a former Tamil journalist who had previously written the story and screenplay for '' Aandavan Kattalai'' (2016). The director initially titled the film as ''Kudiyiruntha Koil'' and shot the project throughout 2022, before shortening the title to ''Kuiko''. During the production stage, the film underwent a change in producers with AST Films taking over from Lyca Productions. Vidharth
Vidharth (born Venkatasubramanian) is an Indian actor appearing in Tamil films. He started his career in 2001 doing uncredited roles. His first major role was in '' Mynaa'' (2010), which became a huge success. He has also done a film for AVM Productions titled '' Mudhal Idam'' (2011). Career Vidharth joined the drama troupe, Koothu-P-Pattarai through some of his friends and began learning the nuances of acting step by step and made his on screen debut with a small role in Gautham Vasudev Menon's '' Minnale'' (2001). Despite believing that the small role would bring him more offers, it did not, and Vidharth continued small-time work with his drama troupe. Yogi Babu (born 22 July 1985) is an Indian actor and comedian, who appears in Tamil films. He has won Ananda Vikatan Cinema Award for '' Aandavan Kattalai'' (2016), '' Kolamavu Kokila'' (2018), '' Pariyerum Perumal'' (2018), '' Love Today'' (2022) and '' Maaveeran'' (2023). Anthony Daasan is an Indian folk singer currently working in the Tamil film industry. He started his career as a cinematographer and worked for 13 films, winning a Tamil Nadu State Film Award for one of them.
