Baganyonok
The Baganyonok () is a river in Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia. The river is long and has a catchment area of .Google Earth The basin of the river is located in the Krasnozyorsky, Bagansky, and Karasuksky districts. Since 1994 there is a Ramsar site in the lower course of the river. Natural monument Stepnaya Catena is located by the right bank of the Baganyonok, northwest of the village of Novy Baganyonok. Course The Baganyonok belongs to the endorheic Bagan river basin of the southern Baraba Plain, between the Ob and the Irtysh rivers. Sentinel-2 is an Earth observation mission from the Copernicus Programme that acquires optical imagery at high spatial resolution (10 m to 60 m) over land and coastal waters. The mission's Sentinel-2A and Sentinel-2B satellites were joined in orbit in 2024 by a third, Sentinel-2C, and in the future by Sentinel-2D, eventually replacing the A and B satellites, respectively. The classification system of inhabited localities in Russia and some other post-Soviet states has certain peculiarities compared with those in other countries. Classes During the Soviet time, each of the republics of the Soviet Union, including the Russian SFSR, had its own legislative documents dealing with classification of inhabited localities.
