Wolfgang Kubicki
Wolfgang Kubicki (born 3 March 1952) is a German politician of the Free Democratic Party of Germany (FDP) and member of the Bundestag from 1990 until 1992 and 2017 onwards. He has been vice chairman of the FDP in Germany since December 2013. Since 24 October 2017 he has served as Vice President of the Bundestag. From 1992 to 1993 and from 1996 to 2017 he served as chairman of the FDP-group in the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament. Early life and education After high school diploma in 1970 in Braunschweig Kubicki studied economics at the University of Kiel, where Peer Steinbrück was among his fellow students. He graduated in 1975. After that he worked for a consulting company and from 1978 in a Steuerberater ("tax advisor") office. From 1981 to 1983 he worked as a researcher for the FDP in the Schleswig-Holstein Landtag. Dariusz Kubicki
Dariusz Jan Kubicki (born 6 June 1963) is a Polish football manager and a former player. Playing career He played for a few clubs, including Stal Mielec, Legia Warsaw, he then went to England and played for Aston Villa, Sunderland, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Tranmere Rovers, Carlisle United and Darlington. He played little part in the Aston Villa teams which came second in the 1993 Premier League and won the 1994 Football League Cup, but played a more active part in Sunderland's promotion to the Premier League in 1996. Kubicki was controversially dropped from the team by manager Peter Reid for a game against Derby County when selecting Kubicki would have meant him overtaking the club record for consecutive appearances in the post-war period, still held by George Mulhall. He played 46 times for the Poland national team, scoring once, and was a participant at the 1986 FIFA World Cup.

Jakub Kubicki
Jakub Kubicki (1758–1833) was a renowned Polish classicist architect and designer. Biography Born in Warsaw in 1758, into a bourgeois family, Jakub Kubicki graduated from the Jesuit College, at the same time that he was taking lessons from Domenico Merlini. In 1777, he was hired by architect Szymon Bogumił Zug to help in the construction of the Holy Trinity Church in Warsaw. In 1783, he went to study in Italy as a fellow of King Stanisław August Poniatowski (with his brother), from where he returned in 1786. On his return he worked as an architect and he was the personal architect to the king. Around 1783, he got married and had three children: Helenę (b. 1784), Józefę (1787–1812), and Izabelę (born 1791). In 1791, in recognition of his services, he was knighted and received the Winged Column. Ewa Maria Kubicka is a Polish mathematician interested in graph theory and actuarial science. She is known for introducing the concept of the chromatic sum of a graph, the minimum possible sum when the vertices are labeled by natural numbers with no two adjacent vertices having equal labels. Kubicka studied mathematics at Wrocław University of Science and Technology beginning in 1974, and earned a master's degree there in 1979. She came to Western Michigan University for graduate study, earning both a master's degree in computer science and a Ph.D. in mathematics in 1989. Her dissertation, ''The Chromatic Sum and Efficient Tree Algorithms'', was supervised by Allen J. Schwenk. Anna Kubicka (born 8 June 1999) is a Polish Woman International Master (2018). Chess career Anna Kubicka learned the rules of chess at the age of six. In 2006, she won a bronze medal in Rybnik in Polish Chess Championship for Preschoolers. She has taken part in the finals of the Polish Youth Chess Championships many times in various girls age groups. In 2013, she won the gold medal in the Polish Youth Rapid Chess Championship in U14 age group in Olsztyn. In 2015, she achieved the greatest success in her career to date, winning a gold medal in Polish Youth Chess Championship in U16 age group in classical chess.
