Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2
Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2 or Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 Scheme), Federal Route 28, is a ring road built by the Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR) to connect neighborhoods near the boundary of Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Altogether, the of the entire system consists of Federal Route 28, Damansara–Puchong Expressway (from Sri Damansara Interchange to Sunway Interchange) and Shah Alam Expressway (from Sunway Interchange to Sri Petaling Interchange). However, the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 is generally referred to as Route 28 since Route 28 occupies about two-thirds of the system. Cheras Highway
Cheras Highway, Federal Route 1 also known as Cheras Road and Loke Yew Road is a major highway in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. History This highway was upgraded in 1988 by Metramac Corporation Sdn.Bhd. The Cheras Road toll plaza began operations from 1 September 1990. After being suspended a year later before reopening on 15 September 1991, toll charges reduced by 50 percent from the usual RM1. After many complaints and traffic jams, the toll plaza was abolished on 14 September 2003 and replaced by Taman Midah MRT station on 17 July 2017. Today, the highway is maintained by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL). Due to the congestion on the Cheras Highway, two projects were led by the DBKL. Klang Gates Dam (Malay: ''Empangan Klang Gates'') is a dam in Ulu Klang, Gombak District, Selangor, Malaysia. It is also known as the Bukit Tabur Dam. Completed in 1958, the dam is the first dam in Malaysia for water supply. It is a concrete arch dam with a spillway in the centre. The reservoir impounded by the dam is one of the major sources of drinking water for residents of the Klang Valley, where the national capital, Kuala Lumpur, is located. The dam's water storage capacity is 25,104 million liters. The Bukit Nanas water treatment plant takes raw water from this reservoir and produces 145 million liters of treated water per day. Batu Caves is a 325-m tall mogote with a series of limestone caves in Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia. It is located about north of the capital city of Kuala Lumpur.
