Andrei Krukov (born January 7, 1971) is a former pair skater who competed internationally for both Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. He competed through 1998 with Marina Khalturina for Kazakhstan. They placed 14th at the 1998 Winter Olympics. Following the dissolution of that partnership, he teamed up with Inga Rodionova to compete for Azerbaijan and was the 2000 Azerbaijan national champion. After retiring from competition, he began coaching in the United States. Fyodor Dmitrievich Kryukov ( rus, Фёдор Дми́триевич Крю́ков, p=ˈfʲɵdər ˈdmʲitrʲɪjɪvʲɪtɕ ˈkrʲukəf; 2/14 February 1870, Glazunovskaya, Don Host Oblast — 4 March 1920) was a Cossack writer and soldier in the White Army, died in 1920 of typhoid fever. Mikhail Kryukov (born 1932) is an anthropologist and historian. Born in Moscow, Kryukov attended Moscow Institute of Oriental Studies, where he received a B.A. in 1954. He earned an M.A. in 1955 from Moscow Institute of International Relations, and from the Peking University in 1962. He earned a Ph.D. degree in 1965 from the USSR Academy of Sciences. Since 1965, he has been Senior Research Fellow of the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Kryukov’s major contributions to cultural anthropology belong to two fields: (1) studies of the evolution of kinship terminology and (2) the study of long-term dynamics of the Chinese ethnos. Vladimir Viktorovich Kryukov (; – 16 August 1959) was a Soviet Army lieutenant general and a Hero of the Soviet Union. Kryukov joined the Imperial Russian Army after the beginning of World War I, fighting on the Western Front and becoming an officer by his demobilization in December 1917. He commanded a Red Guard detachment during the early stages of the Russian Civil War, but soon transferred to the Red Army. Kryukov commanded cavalry units on the Southern Front, and continued his service during the interwar period. He led a rifle regiment during the Winter War, and after its end became a rifle brigade commander. Soon after this promotion Kryukov received the rank of major general. In the spring of 1941 he became commander of the 10th Mechanized Corps' 198th Motorized Division.
