Krystal Murray
Krystal Murray (born 16 June 1993) is a dual code international rugby player for New Zealand. She competed for the Kiwi Ferns at the 2017 Women's Rugby League World Cup in Australia. She then made her test debut for the Black Ferns in 2021, she was a member of their 2021 Rugby World Cup champion squad. She also plays for Hurricanes Poua in the Super Rugby Aupiki competition and represents Northland provincially. Rugby League Career Murray represented New Zealand at the 2017 Women's Rugby League World Cup. Rugby Union Career 2021–2022 Murray currently plays rugby union for the Northland Kauri in the Farah Palmer Cup. She played for the Blues against the Chiefs in the first-ever women's Super Rugby match in New Zealand on 1 May. Kaitaia
Kaitaia () is a town in the Far North District of New Zealand, at the base of the Aupōuri Peninsula, about 160 km northwest of Whangārei. It is the last major settlement on State Highway 1. 2024 Super Rugby Aupiki Season
The 2024 Super Rugby Aupiki season was the third season of Super Rugby Aupiki (known as Sky Super Rugby Aupiki for sponsorship reasons), a professional women's rugby union club competition organised by New Zealand Rugby. The competition ran from 2 March 2024when Chiefs Manawa and Hurricanes Poua played the opening match in Hamiltonto 13 April 2024. The tournament was won by Blues Women, who defeated Chiefs Manawa 24–18 in the final in Auckland, earning them their first Super Rugby Aupiki title. 2022 Laurie O'Reilly Cup
The 2022 Laurie O'Reilly Cup was the 13th edition of the competition. The matches were played on 20 and 27 August, with both Australia and New Zealand hosting one match each. After a two-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was confirmed that the competition would return. The first test was played in Christchurch at the Orangetheory Stadium on 20 August 2022. The second test was played in a curtain raiser to the Wallabies and Springboks test in Adelaide on 27 August 2022. The Black Ferns won the first test in Christchurch with an overwhelming 52–5 score and retained the O'Reilly Cup. The Australia women's national rugby union team, also known as the Wallaroos, has competed at Women's Rugby World Cups since 1998, with their best result finishing in third place in 2010. Australian women have been playing rugby since the late 1930s, in regional areas of New South Wales. In 1992 the first National Women's Tournament was held in Newcastle, NSW.
