''Krrish'' () is a 2006 Indian Hindi-language superhero action thriller film directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan. The film stars Hrithik Roshan in a dual role, alongside Priyanka Chopra, Naseeruddin Shah, Rekha, Sharat Saxena and Manini Mishra. It is the second instalment in the ''Krrish'' franchise and a sequel to '' Koi... Mil Gaya''. Rakesh Roshan (born 6 September 1949) is an Indian film producer, director, screenwriter and actor who works in Bollywood, Hindi films. He appeared in 84 films in the 1970s and 1980s. As an actor, he is mostly known for his supporting roles in big-budget films. Later, his prominence increased and he achieved fame for directing films with titles beginning with the letter "K" since 1987. Krishna Mehra, better known as Krrish, is an Indian superhero appearing in the film series of the same name. He made his first appearance in ''Krrish'', the second film of the series. The character was created by Rakesh Roshan and is portrayed by Hrithik Roshan, who reprises the role in ''Krrish 3'', the third film of the franchise.
