Mark Lukych Kropyvnytskii ( uk, Марко Лукич Кропивницький; russian: Марк Лукич Кропивницкий, translit=Mark Lukich Kropivnitsky; 7 May 1840 – 21 April 1910), commonly known as Marko Kropyvnytskyi, was a Ukrainian writer, dramaturge, composer, theatre actor and director. An oblast ( uk, о́бласть; ) in Ukraine, often called a region or province, is the main type of first-level administrative division of the country. Ukraine's territory is divided into 24 oblasts, as well as one autonomous republic, Crimea, and two cities with special status, Kyiv and Sevastopol. Novoukrainka Raion is a raion (district) of Kirovohrad Oblast in central Ukraine. The administrative center of the district is the town of Novoukrainka. Population: . A hromada ( uk, територіальна громада, lit=territorial community, translit=terytorialna hromada) is a basic unit of administrative division in Ukraine, similar to a municipality.
