Kriti (music)
A ''kriti'' () is a form of musical composition in the Carnatic music literature. The Sanskrit common noun ''Kriti'' means 'creation' or 'work'. A kriti forms the mental backbone of any typical Carnatic music concert and is the longer format of a Carnatic song. Structure A conventional ''kriti'' typically contain three parts: #''Pallavi'', the equivalent of a refrain in Western music #''Anupallavi (music), Anupallavi'', the second verse, which is sometimes optional #''Charanam'', the final (and longest) verse that wraps up the song The ''charanam'' usually borrows patterns from the ''anupallavi''. The ''charanam's'' last line usually contains the composer's signature, or ''mudra (music), mudra'', with which the composer leaves their mark. Variations Some Kritis have a verse between the ''anupallavi'' and the ', called the ''Chitta swara, ''. This verse consists only of notes, and has no words. MS ''Kriti I'' is a RO/PAX ship owned and operated by ANEK Lines. Along with and her sister ship ''Kriti II'' she is the oldest ship in the fleet of ANEK Lines. The ship was built in 1979 at Koyo Dockyard, Japan and her original name was ''New Suzuran''. Service history ''New Suzuran'', with her sister ship ''New Yukari'', were bought from ANEK Lines in 1996. The constructions became in Perama, Greece in 1996. After the construction the new ''Kriti I'', with her sister ship ''Kriti II'', served on the Patras–Igoumenitsa–Corfu–Trieste route for many years. After the arrivals of the newest ships of ANEK Lines, the Japanese ferries ''Lefka Ori'' and ''Sophocles Venizelos'', ''Kriti I'' with her sister ship ''Kriti II'' were transferred to the Piraeus–Heraklion route. Kruti Dev (Devanagari: कृतिदेव) is Devanagari typeface and non-Unicode clip font typeface which uses the keyboard layout of Remington's typewriters. Kirti
''Kirti'' was a Punjabi monthly started by the veteran Ghadarite Santokh Singh in February 1926. It was purely a communist production, subsidized by the Ghadar Party in the United States. Within a few months, Sohan Singh Josh took over as the editor. In 1928, the Communist Party of India tied-Kirti group (also known as the Kirti Kisan Party) was formed, ''Kirti'' became its mouthpiece. Its purpose was to outline the basic ideas of revolution and Marxist ideals.
