Kristo Šagor
Kristo Šagor (born March 16, 1976, in Stadtoldendorf, Lower Saxony) is a German playwright and director. He has received numerous awards, and his plays ''Dreier ohne Simone'', ''FSK 16'' and ''Trüffelschweine'' are now among the most frequently performed plays in German-speaking countries. Career Kristo Šagor was born on March 16, 1976, in Stadtoldendorf in the Holzminden (district), district of Holzminden, but grew up in a neighbourhood of Lübeck. His mother was a teacher and came from the Federal Republic of Germany. His father was a hotel manager and hotel management school teacher and came from Croatia, then part of Yugoslavia, where the two had met in 1973 in the port city of Dubrovnik. His parents had been living together in Germany since 1976. The Mannheim National Theatre () is a theatre and opera company in Mannheim, Germany, with a variety of performance spaces. It was founded in 1779 and is one of the oldest theatres in Germany. History In the 18th century Mannheim was the capital of the Electoral Palatinate and the residence city of the reigning prince-electors. When Charles Theodore also became the Duke of Bavaria in 1777, he moved to Munich and brought the theatre company of Theobald Marchand with him from Mannheim.
