Krista Griffith
Krista Mollee Griffith (born October 4, 1972) is an American politician. She is a Democratic member of the Delaware House of Representatives, representing district 12. Griffith was elected in the general election on November 6, 2018, winning 53 percent of the vote over incumbent Republican Deborah Hudson, who had been part of the Republican caucus leadership. Prior to her election, Griffith worked as a Deputy Attorney General in the Delaware Department of Justice. Deborah D. Hudson, formerly Deborah Hudson Capano, (born August 16, 1952) is an American politician. She was a Republican member of the Delaware House of Representatives from 1995 to 2019 representing District 12. She earned her BS in human resources from the University of Delaware. The Delaware General Assembly is the legislature of the U.S. state of Delaware. It is a bicameral legislature composed of the Delaware Senate with 21 senators and the Delaware House of Representatives with 41 representatives. It meets at Legislative Hall in Dover, convening on the second Tuesday of January of odd-numbered years, with a second session of the same Assembly convening likewise in even-numbered years.
