Krambambula (band)
Krambambula is a Belarusian band from Minsk, started by Lavon Volski (also the founder of N.R.M.) in 2001. The name of the band is derived from a popular Belarusian alcoholic tincture of the same name. The band performs humorous and satirical songs, often on an alcoholic theme. Krambambula was banned in Belarus from 2011 to 2017. History Emergence of the idea In the second half of the 90s the artist and poet Mikhail Anempodistov came up with the concept of the album ''Narodny Albom'' ( en, Folk Album). The Belarusian rock stars of that time were supposed to take part in this project. The album was dedicated to Western Belarus interwar period. Lavon Volski, the leader of the musical band N.R.M., was also invited into this project. He was involved in the arrangements and sang most of the songs there. Gennady Anatolyevich Tumilovich (russian: Геннадий Анатольевич Тумилович, born 3 September 1971) is a Belarusian football coach and a former player. Aliaksandr Paulavich Hleb ( be, Аляксандр Паўлавіч Глеб, ; russian: Александр Павлович Глеб; born 1 May 1981), commonly referred to in English as Alexander Hleb, is a Belarusian former professional footballer. Alyaksandr Khatskevich ( be, Аляксандр Хацкевіч, born 19 October 1973) is a Belarusian football manager and former player. Natallia Tsylinskaya (russian: Наталья Цилинская; born 30 August 1975) is an international cyclist, who specialises in track sprinting. Tsylinskaya is an eight time World Champion, and an Olympic bronze medalist.
