Vladislav Kovalsky (born July 12, 1947 in Khabarovsk, Russia) is a Russian pianist and Executive and Artistic Director of the Monmouth Conservatory of Music. Kovalsky pursued his graduate studies at the Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov Leningrad State Conservatory of Music. His teacher there was Nathan Perlman. His performance experiences as a concert pianist, collaborative artist, includes tours of Russia, United States, Canada, Korea, and Japan. Leon Iosifovich Kovalsky (; 28 April 1940 – 4 June 2023) was a Russian engineer politician. A member of Our Home – Russia, he served in the Federation Council from 1996 to 2006 and was Chairman of the Samara Regional Duma from 1994 to 2001. Yelizaveta Nikolayevna Kovalskaya (; 17/29 June 1851 – 1943) was a Russian revolutionary, narodnik, and founding member of Black Repartition. Early life Kovalskaya was born near Kharkiv. Her mother was a serf, who belonged to her father, Colonel Solntsev. When she was aged about seven, she confronted her father, having just learnt that "there were landowners and peasant serfs in the world, that landowners could sell people, that my father could separate my mother and me by selling her to one neighbouring landowner and me to another—but my mother could not sell my father." He agreed to free them both, and had them registered as free citizens, and arranged for her to be privately educated. When he unexpectedly died, he left his large estate to his illegitimate daughter. Elena Kovalskaya
Elena Kovalskaya () is a Russian theatre critic, curator, and teacher. She teaches the history of foreign theatre at the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS), and directs a master's program there in social theatre. Until she resigned in protest at the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, she was artistic director at the Meyerhold Theatre and Cultural Center (TsIM). Life Kovalskaya graduated in theatre science from GITIS in 1998. From 1999 to 2012 she was a reviewer for the magazine ''Afisha'', and from 2006 she curated the Lyubimovka New Playwrights Festival.
