Brad Kotz
Bradley 'Brad' A. Kotz was a four-time All-American NCAA lacrosse player at Syracuse University from 1982 to 1985. Syracuse Orange The Orange won an NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship in 1983 and made two additional appearances in the NCAA finals in 1984 and 1985, with Kotz as their leading player. In the 1983 championship, Kotz teamed with Tim Nelson to lead the Orange to a 17-16 upset over Johns Hopkins, and the team's first national title since 1925. Kotz scored five goals, all in the second half, and was named the tournament MVP in leading Syracuse back from a 12 to 5 second half deficit. Kotz was named the USILA player of the year in 1983, and was inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2001. Kotz was also a member of the ILF World Champion US squads for the 1986 and 1990 World Lacrosse Championships, teaming with John Tucker, Larry Quinn, Tony Resch and Dave Pietramala. Dorothy Christine Kotz (born 3 January 1944) is a former Australian politician who was the sitting Liberal Party member for the electoral district of Newland of the South Australian House of Assembly from 1989 until her retirement in 2006. Hein Kötz (born 14 November 1935) is a German jurist, former Director of the Max-Planck-Institute for foreign and international private law (MPI-PRIV), the Bucerius Law School and Vice President of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). Biography Kötz was born in Schneidemühl ( Posen-West Prussia) (today Piła, Poland) and received his doctorate at the University of Hamburg in 1962. In 1963 he received his ''Master of Comparative Law'' at the University of Michigan and habilitated 1970 in Hamburg. Kötz worked as a Professor at the University of Konstanz in 1971–78 and as a judge at the Oberlandesgericht Karlsruhe in 1975–78. John Kotz (basketball)
John P. Kotz (March 27, 1919 – May 8, 1999) was an American college basketball player and early professional, best known as the Most Outstanding Player of the 1941 NCAA tournament as a member of the Wisconsin Badgers. Collegiate career Kotz, a 6'3 forward from Rhinelander, Wisconsin, played collegiately at the University of Wisconsin–Madison from 1940 to 1943. As a sophomore, Kotz led the Badgers to the 1941 NCAA Championship and was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. He was an All-American in 1942 and 1943. Kotz left Wisconsin as the school's leading scorer.2008–09 Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball record book

Nathan K. "Nick" Kotz (September 16, 1932 – April 26, 2020) was an American journalist, author, and historian. His most recent book, ''The Harness Makers Dream: Nathan Kallison and the Rise of South Texas'', tells the story of Ukrainian immigrant Nathan Kallison's journey to the United States. He is best known for his 2005 book ''Judgment Days: Lyndon Baines Johnson, Martin Luther King Jr., and the Laws that Changed America'' chronicling the roles of US President Lyndon B. Johnson and Martin Luther King Jr. in the passage of the 1964, 1965, and 1968 civil rights laws. Samuel Kotz (; August 30, 1930, Harbin, China – March 16, 2010, Kemp Mill, Maryland) was a professor and research scholar in the Department of Engineering Management and Systems Engineering, School of Engineering and Applied Science at The George Washington University from 1997 until his death on March 16, 2010. He was an author or editor of several standard reference works in statistics and probability theory. Tadeusz Kotz (9 August 1913 – 3 June 2008) was a Polish pilot and fighter ace of World War II. He was awarded several decorations, including Poland's Virtuti Militari, four times Cross of Valour and the British Distinguished Flying Cross. After the war he published his memoirs. Biography He was born Tadeusz Koc in 1913 in Grabanów, then under Russian rule. His farming parents initially worked for a landowner, then farmed their own land in the village of Kłoda. After his general schooling, Tadeusz entered the cadet flying school in Dęblin. Later, he served in the Polish Air Force as a fighter pilot.
