Kotri–Attock Line
Kotri–Attock Railway Line () (also referred to Main Line 2 or ML-2) is one of five main railway lines in Pakistan, operated and maintained by Pakistan Railways. The line begins from Kotri Junction railway station, Kotri Junction and ends at Attock City Junction railway station, Attock City Junction. The total length of this railway line is . There are 93 operational railway stations from Kotri Junction to Attock City Junction on this line. History The present-day Kotri–Attock Railway Line was built as a patchwork of different railways during the 19th and 20th centuries by North Western State Railway and Pakistan Railways. The present day line consists of the following historic lines: *Mari–Attock Railway The ''Mari–Attock Railway'' opened in 1891 as a broad gauge railway line between Mari Indus and Attock. Kotri Junction Railway Station
Kotri Junction Railway Station (, ) of Pakistan Railways is located in Kotri city, Jamshoro District, Jamshoro district of Sindh province, Pakistan. History Kotri Junction station is among the oldest railway stations in Pakistan. It served as the northern terminus of the Scinde Railway, which was established in March 1855. A railway line was to be constructed between Karachi and Kotri and work on the Karachi terminus commenced in April 1858. By 13 May 1861, the station opened to the public.
