Kosovar Cup
The Kosovar Cup () is the major football national cup tournament in Kosovo. It was established in 1991, and is organized by the Football Federation of Kosovo. Prishtina are the current holders, who won their second Kosovar Cup against Gjilani at the 2022–23 Kosovar Cup final held at the Fadil Vokrri Stadium. Football Federation Of Kosovo
The Football Federation of Kosovo (; FFK) is the governing body of football in Kosovo, with headquarters in Pristina. The Football Federation of Kosovo was established in 1946 as a branch of the Football Association of Yugoslavia, it has since become independent and was headed by Fadil Vokrri until his sudden death in 2018. It organizes eight competitions of football in Kosovo. History On 17 February 2008, Kosovo declared independence from Serbia. A number of countries such as France, the United States and the United Kingdom immediately recognised the new country. Others, such as Serbia, Russia and China are opposed to Kosovo's independence. KF Hysi (Klubi Futbollistik Hysi) was a football club based in Podujevë, in the District of Pristina, Kosovo, that was founded in 2002. History They were in the top division of football in Kosovo, the Raiffeisen Superliga. KF Hysi won their promotion from the second division, Liga e Parë, to the top division, then called Kosovar Superliga, during the 2005–06 season. Football Club Liria (), commonly known as Liria, is a professional football club based in Prizren, Kosovo. The club plays in the Kosovo Superleague, which is the top tier of football in the country. The club is one of the oldest and one of the most successful clubs in Kosovo. History Early years The first football arrived in Prizren in 1922 from Skopje by an unknown photograph.
